Every Defender Genuine Alloy Wheel undergoes a rigorous 12-week dynamic corrosion test as the first line of defence. They're then assessed for resistance to harsh fluids like brake fluid, fuel and cleaning agents. The final challenge? A relentless 1,000-hour salt spray test ensuring they’re built to withstand the toughest conditions.
SAFETY
The Pendulum Impact Test simulates curb strikes by hitting each alloy wheel at both its weakest and strongest points. This critical structural test ensures maximum safety and shock absorption, helping to protect both the vehicle and its passengers in real-world conditions.
